OUR MISSION
The mission of I Am Learning Academy is to provide a quality education that connects students to God while fostering self-discipline and self-mastery. We are dedicated to nurturing academic excellence, spiritual growth, and character development, empowering students to lead purposeful and fulfilling lives.
OUR VISION
Our vision at I Am Learning Academy is to cultivate a generation of students who embody knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. We strive to nurture individuals with cultural refinement, respect for others, good manners, and strong moral character, empowering them to lead purposeful lives and positively impact their communities.
OUR PROMISE
At I Am Learning Academy, our educators are dedicated to equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and values they need to thrive academically, spiritually, and personally. By teaching students the 'why' behind lessons, encouraging critical thinking, and promoting life skills, we empower them to make informed decisions that shape their growth and future success.
We believe education is more than academics—it’s a foundation for character development and lifelong learning. Our teachers integrate moral lessons and values into every subject, helping students understand how qualities like discipline, focus, and perseverance apply to their lives both in and out of the classroom. Through this approach, students learn to navigate challenges with confidence and grace.
Our curriculum is designed to develop the whole child. While academic achievement is essential, we take a holistic approach that includes emotional, spiritual, and personal growth. Teachers guide students in balancing academic goals with self-mastery and well-being, promoting a sustainable path to success.
Every teacher at I Am Learning Academy serves as a mentor, focusing on mindset development to help students manage challenges, build resilience, and maintain a positive outlook. With comprehensive growth as our goal, we work to build strengths in character, faith, and intellect.
We recognize that every student’s journey is unique. Our educators take the time to understand each child’s needs, helping them set goals, overcome obstacles, and exceed expectations. By leveraging their experience and expertise, our teachers inspire students to see their full potential and pursue excellence in all aspects of life.
Our commitment is to provide students with the structure, support, and guidance they need to continuously grow and achieve their goals. At I Am Learning Academy, we use transformative educational principles to empower students, ensuring they are prepared for success in academics, in life, and as leaders in their communities.

PURPOSE OF EDUCATION
Taken from "A Torchlight for America" by The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.
Education is suppose to be the proper cultivation of the gifts and talents of the individual through the acquisition of knowledge. Knowledge satisfies our natural thirst for gaining that which will make us one with God. So true education cultivates the person's mind, body and spirit by brining us closer to fulfilling our purpose for being, which is to reflect Allah (God). The second purpose for education, after self-cultivation, is to teach us how to give proper services to self, family, community, nation and then to the world.
PUT GOD FIRST
True and proper equation starts with the knowledge of God. And yet God is taken out of the schools. I t is ridiculous that the school does not begin with prayer. God is the author of all knowledge, so why should He be taken out of the schools?
Recognition of God is the proper beginning point for understanding every discipline. If we cannot honor God, the Supreme Teacher, then how can the children honor their teachers? We have this thing all backwards. You don't pledge your allegiance to the flag, which is merely a symbol of a nation. You pledge allegiance to God, and you work for your flag and country.
The knowledge of God is infinite. I would argue that leaving God out of our school limits our education that confines the scope of what we are equipped to do and achieve.
From Study Guide 21 The Education Challenge: A New Educational Paradigm for the 21st Century by The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.
"I Am Mathematics. When I study Mathematics, I'm going to study more about myself because I Am Mathematics. The God Who created the Universe created it on the basis of mathematics. He created me on that same basis, so I Am Mathematics. I Am!"
What else are you? "I Am History." I don't like history..." ---Shut up! That means you don't like yourself. "Well, how should I like American History? I ain't ... " --Quiet! History is you! You are the Present, but in your DNA is the Past. In your egg and your sperm is your Future. "I Am The Past, I Am the Present, I Am The Future, I Am History, I Am Mathematics." ...
AT I AM LEARNING ACADEMY, WE BELIEVE IN EDUCATING AND EMPOWERING STUDENTS FOR A LIFETIME OF SUCCESS.
